BABIES BAZAAR is the easiest, most convenient and economical way to buy and sell your pre-loved items. Whether it’s cleaning out the cupboard for some space and cash or needing to set up a nursery from scratch, Babies Bazaar is the place to go! The Bazaar is organised and run by local mum Kathy Gilchrist, after seeing a need to buy and sell pre-loved items for her own children. Since commencing in June 2008 each Bazaar has grown in size and popularity as word spreads through happy customers. Babies Bazaar now attracts over 50 stand holders and in excess of 350 buyers through the door, so for quality items whilst saving time and money, visit a Babies Bazaar and be pleasantly surprised!

 

 

EXPECT TO FIND in excess of 50 stand holders selling their own pre-loved and sometimes new goods !  There’s 1000’s of items to choose from in a wide variety of sizes and price ranges. Whether it is brand name clothes and items you are wanting or “round the house” items you are in need of, you are assured of finding a bargain at Babies Bazaar.

BUYER ENTRY is between 9am and 11am on Bazaar dates, with $2 per adult payable on entry. Your  admission ticket has future Babies Bazaar dates, contact numbers and is also your pass to re-enter as many times as you wish.  Why not take advantage of this, buying your necessities during the first busy hour, then returning in the last hour to browse and pick up last minute bargains! There is also plenty of convenient parking beside and behind the Civic Centre for Bazaar shoppers’. SELLING IS EASY at Babies Bazaar with the choice of either a Basic stand or Large stand. Whether you require a stand by yourself, you wish to share with a friend, or raise money for a Mothers group etc, the bazaar is a great place to sell your pre-loved items. Advance bookings are essential due to strong demand and limited stand numbers, with PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF BOOKING.

LARGE STAND........$35

Table (supplied) 2400 x 760 Extra Metre of Space Chair / Provision for 2 bigger items.

 

 

The Foyer area of the Centre is now also used to accommodate Stand holders. Stands in this area are priced at $20 and $25 however you are required to supply your own table under this arrangement. Any bigger items (prams, cots, highchairs etc) over 700mm high may be placed in our designated bigger items area or if you choose a larger stand, you may wish to keep a bigger item on your stand. You are permitted up to 2 bigger items per stand in the bigger items area. MARKETING is achieved via Flyers and Printed Media, but primarily word of mouth from happy Babies Bazaar attendees’ is responsible for the majority of new customers.

 

 

GOODS SOLD at Babies Bazaar should meet the minimum quality standards set out in the booking details information and must comply with Australian Standards.
